North Carolina Glass Center

Where is the Asheville Glass Center?

The North Carolina Glass Center, a 501c3 not for profit, has purchased the assets of the Asheville Glass Center and took over operations effective on June 1. The NCGC is happy to be continuing in the tradition and supporting the Western North Carolina glass community. NCGC plans on continuing the classes already held at Asheville Glass Center, expanding on these classes for the general public, keeping the glass gallery open, and continuing to offer rental spaces for glass artists.

The North Carolina Glass Center is dedicated to the education, exploration, and collaboration in all forms of glass. NCGC will break ground on its new facilities north of the River Arts District this summer, but in the meantime will operate out of the Asheville Glass Center’s headquarters at 140C Roberts St in the River Arts District.

If you had purchased or were interested in classes previously offered by the Asheville Glass Center, please call the North Carolina Glass Center at 828-505-3552 so that we can make sure your place is reserved in one of our upcoming classes.
